One man’s journey to discover the bitter truth about sugar. Actor Damon Gameau (Underbelly) embarks on a unique experiment to document the effects of a high sugar diet on a healthy body, consuming only foods that are commonly perceived as ‘healthy’ but which are in fact laden with hidden sugars. Through this entertaining and informative journey, with contributions from Hugh Jackman and Stephen Fry, Damon reveals where sugar lurks on supermarket shelves, finds out what it does to the human body, and asks why these health effects are being hidden from consumers.
